We have just added a new iPhone /
iPod Touch template with pages for controlling cable / satellite, DVD / Blu Ray,
and splash pages for gaming consoles. This template will allow you to get
acquainted with your BC4X1 and BitWise Controls Project Editor, allowing you to
test out IR / RS-232 codes, macros, and the new command tag feature. The page
flips are pre-assigned, so all you have to do is drag and drop your commands
onto the buttons, edit the text and upload to your processor and your iPhone or
iPod Touch.

*Be
sure to check the screen resolutions of your Android device(s)
before ordering. The template designed for 1280 x 800 Android
tablets has an actual resolution of 1280 x 752 landscape and 800 x
1232 in portrait due to the static 48 pixel bar that appears on all
pages due the lack of hard buttons on Honeycomb 3.0 tablets. Several
Motorola Android phones have screen resolutions of 480 x 848 and 480
x 854 pixels. The 800 x 480 template will not appear correctly
on these phones. The 1024 x 600 template was designed for mid-size
Android tablets (such as the Galaxy Tab) that have hard buttons for
home / menu / back / search and will run full screen on these
devices.
The BitWise Android
app is in beta testing and needs to be downloaded and installed
manually on your device(s). Please log into your account at
bitwisecontrols.com to download the file and follow the included
instructions.

Click play to view the
BitWise Controls tutorial featuring our new iPad BC4 template running on
the Apple iPad.
Our new Bitwise Controls templates can be easily imported as a new
GUI Group in the BC4 Editor and many of the page flips are
pre-programmed for quick and easy editing. You can also save your
projects as HTML projects and run them from any PC or web tablet
if you haven't yet purchased an Apple iPad or iPhone / iPod Touch.
The BC4 Project Editor allows you to upload your projects
wirelessly to your Apple devices, all you need to do is install
the free BitWise app on each device.
Programming our templates to work with BitWise is very simple
because the IR codes are contained within the processor and can be
assigned to buttons using simple drag and drop. If you need to learn
any IR codes that are not contained in the database, it's as easy
as pointing the remote at the built in IR learner and saving your new
device codes. You can immediately test your IR codes simply
by double clicking them in the list.
Bitwise can be easily programmed by the casual home automation
enthusiast and professionals alike. You can also load your
projects to multiple devices (iPad, iPhone / iPod Touch, PC) without having to pay a
separate licensing fee
for each one. Visit
www.bitwisecontrols.com for more information.
