Aura	Simplify (Updated)

These templates were developed specifically for the Philips TSU-9600 contest at Remote Central as we wanted to showcase two completely different ideas with these designs. Aura was made for large systems which contain multiple audio and video sources and other multimedia devices like music servers and plasma TV's with SD card readers. You would typically use an RF extender with multiple IR emitters on a more elaborate system so we put all of the activities on their own page knowing the IR commands would always reach the intended devices.

Simplify was designed for a typical American home entertainment system that contains a cable or satellite box, DVD player, CD player / changer and a single video game system and simple IR lighting dimmers such as a Lutron Maestro or similar. We designed the activity buttons to appear on every page, making it easy for people who are only using the IR output of the remote to re-send a source change / activity command simply by pressing the button again in the event the IR failed connect with the devices IR eye. With a typical "Home Page" design, you would have to press the home button, then re-select the activity.

Both are simple to use and incredibly functional, you can reconfigure them for a just about any system, whether it be a clients or your own simply by changing the text and dragging the IR command onto the buttons. These are available at no cost and can be downloaded directly from the links below.

New features added to our Simplify template

Until now, Simplify included only the one background image but we have just added a brand new set of 35 different backgrounds plus an all new transparent overlay that allows you to use any properly sized graphic or photo as your wallpaper. You can easily replace the existing background image on the System page with one of our new pre-made backgrounds.

If you want to use a custom image or photo, replace the existing background image, then right click on the new image and select "Send to Back". The transparent overlay is already in the proper Z-order on the system page so it will appear above your custom image automatically when you select this command from the right click menu.
